Meet The Designer And Maker Juliana Parra

Born and raised in in Colombia, Juliana received her training as a Goldsmith
in the Zeichenakademie Hanau (class 2019). In 2021, she opened her own
Studio in Berlin Neukölln.

Her jewelry is no mass production. Handmade in her studio, it is produced in
small batches with many unique pieces, and made to last.

Often her creative process starts with wax models that allow her to experiment freely
with a variety of different forms. Once a design materialised, she collaborates with a local
foundry in Berlin Tempelhof, where her jewelry is cast in 925 / 950 Sterling silver or other
metals on customer request. To reduce the ecological impact of her work, she uses recycled
metals like leftover casting channels and makes all deliveries on her beloved bike.
